About SK TECHNOLOGY
SK TECHNOLOGY GmbH, based in Roding in the Upper Palatinate, manufactures high-precision components and assemblies as prototypes as well as in small and medium series. Its core technologies include CNC milling with 36 milling centers (including six 5-axis machining centers with robot systems), CNC turning on 29 machines, CNC grinding (surface, cylindrical and profile grinding, lapping, honing) as well as wire and die-sink EDM with surface roughnesses of Ra 0.1–0.2. Large-format milled parts made of aluminum and other materials are produced on a 5-axis gantry milling machine up to 5,000 x 2,200 x 1,200 mm; the DMU 160 P duoBlock machines workpieces up to 4,500 kg with accuracies down to 0.3 µm. All common metals are processed, including difficult-to-machine materials and tool steels. Customers come from aerospace, automotive and motorsport, the semiconductor industry and vacuum technology, defense, the optical industry, medical technology, and plant and special machinery engineering. The company sees itself as a strategic development partner from the early development phase onward, including design engineering.
