About SKADEC

SKADEC GmbH is a system supplier of future-proof and energy-efficient chillers and heat pumps based in southern Germany. At its company headquarters, the company develops and tests innovative refrigeration machines that operate with natural refrigerants such as propane (R290), isobutane (R600a) and propylene (R1270). Development takes place in Germany according to VDE and DIN; the products are available, among other configurations, as air-cooled and water-cooled versions, optionally with a free-cooling coil to increase energy efficiency. In addition to product development, SKADEC offers remote monitoring with early fault detection via remote access, preventive maintenance, around-the-clock service, custom software solutions and risk management. The systems are used in office and administrative buildings, industry, retail, public buildings, hotels and for chilled goods storage. In 2025, the subsidiary SKADEC Norge AS was founded in Trondheim (Norway).
