SKO Säureschutz und Kunststoffbau GmbH, headquartered in Oberahr, has been operating since 1964 as an industrial company in acid protection, corrosion protection, and plastic construction. The range of services includes acid protection construction with plate lining and masonry, plastic construction from thermoplastics such as PE, PP, PVC, and PVDF, as well as composite construction (GF-UP), tank construction, piping construction and installation, exhaust air systems, coating systems for industrial floors and plants, environmental and water protection systems, and chemical storage according to WHG. Furthermore, SKO manufactures and supplies hot-dip galvanizing systems, pickling and exhaust air technology, wastewater treatment plants, as well as switching and control systems, and installs plants and components worldwide on site. Since 2014, the company has been associated with TIP TOP Oberflächenschutz Elbe GmbH as part of the REMA TIP TOP Group, which performs hard and soft rubber coatings, resin coatings, and masonry at the locations in Lutherstadt Wittenberg and Warstein. Customers include companies from the metal, energy, chemical, food, automotive, and pharmaceutical industries, including ThyssenKrupp, BASF, Evonik, Merck, Daimler, Bosch, and Boehringer.
