About SKS Welding Systems

SKS Welding Systems is a system partner for automated, robot-supported arc welding with headquarters in Kaiserslautern. The company develops and manufactures welding machines with welding process control, power source, robot interface and wire feed as well as its own torch systems for single-wire and twin-wire welding, including the Frontpull-8 series. In addition, laser-hybrid welding systems (combination of laser and MIG/MAG), welding processes such as microMIG-cc for reduced-heat welding, and software for welding data documentation and machine networking are offered. As complete system packages (Weld Packages), the torch system, welding machine, software, robot mounting kit and cleaning station are combined. The components are compatible with welding robots from well-known manufacturers. Customers are primarily the automotive and supplier industries; sales and service are provided via the company's own Customer Centers worldwide. Production takes place at the Kaiserslautern site (Made in Germany); since 2022 the company has been using solar energy for production.
