About SKT GmbH

SKT GmbH manufactures technical plastic parts, seals and membranes using the injection molding process. The range of services includes the processing of thermoplastics, injection molding of liquid silicone (LSR) as well as two-component processing (2K) with combinations of thermoplastic–elastomer, thermoplastic–liquid silicone and metal–plastic. Part weights range from 0.1 g to 2000 g; the 25 injection molding machines of the brands ARBURG, ENGEL, Haitian, Stork and Dr. Boy cover clamping forces up to 4000 kN and run in three-shift operation. Production is complemented by printing, painting and chrome plating as well as complete and partial assemblies with functional testing. The in-house toolmaking operation with HSC machining, EDM and CNC milling enables prototype molds and short-notice production launches. Customers come primarily from the automotive supply industry and mechanical engineering; other key sectors include refrigeration, HVAC and sanitary, medical technology, building and cooling technology as well as engine/aggregate manufacturing. Lot sizes range from single pieces to one million parts. The company employs around 60 staff at its site in Obrigheim, Baden-Württemberg.
