SKT Schwarzwälder Kugel- & Rollentechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1980 and based in Tennenbronn in the Black Forest. The company develops and produces a broad programme of running rollers such as load-bearing, guide, conveyor, cable, tensioning, deflection, gate and ball-bearing rollers, complete assemblies and running gear carriage units, as well as custom-made steel balls in high precision. In addition, SKT offers standard deep groove ball bearings to DIN 625 in various designs, as well as plastic turned parts and plain bearings. Production runs from design through to series delivery, including to customer drawings, including fitting of customer's own base bodies. Stamped, zinc die-cast, milled and plastic variants are used as base bodies for running gear carriages. The products are characterised by high running comfort, durability and functionality under demanding conditions; the manufacturing and sales division is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
