About Sliding Systems
Sliding Systems was founded in 1988 and is part of the GSF Group of Companies, which also includes the ProMounts online purchasing portal and Radia Srl, specialised in aircraft interior equipment and motion control. The company designs and manufactures industrial telescopic slides, extension slides and linear systems for loads from a few kilograms up to over 4,000 kg. Production takes place at three European production sites: cold-drawn precision telescopic slides, cold-rolled steel slides on automated production lines, and ultra-precise linear systems in quantities from one-off pieces to high volume. The product range is complemented by tray, drawer and mounting systems for the safe transport of equipment, including slide-and-tilt mechanisms and tool holders. Materials include steel (including C45), stainless steel 316L and 441, and aluminium alloys such as 7075 T6, 6082 and 7N01 T5. Typical applications can be found on emergency and fire service vehicles, in defence and aviation, in banking (ATM), mechanical engineering, robotics and the marine sector. The Global Head Office is located in Chirk, Wrexham (UK), with own warehouses in the UK and Italy as well as locations in North Macedonia and Taiwan.
