SM Klebetechnik is an owner-managed medium-sized company in Heinsberg that develops, manufactures and sells machine and plant technology for industrial adhesive processing. The portfolio includes drum melters, adhesive melting units, bag melters, hotmelt coating systems, hotmelt extruders, tank systems and modular application head systems for precise full-surface, spray and bead application. In addition to standard units, special-purpose machines and systems tailored to the specific application are built, e.g. systems for PUR, bitumen and butyl processing as well as for textile coating and curtain coat (curtain coating). The systems process thermoplastic and reactive adhesives and sealants such as polyurethanes (PUR), polyolefins (PO, APAO), polyamides (PA, CoPA), PSA pressure-sensitive adhesives, EVA, acrylates, bitumen and butyls. Pre-tests, feasibility studies and testing with customer materials are carried out in the company's own R&D technical center equipped with robotics, plant and metrology equipment. The range of services is complemented by engineering, on-site or in-house workshop service, training, rental equipment and bridging equipment. Customers include the automotive, textile, wood and furniture, paper and film, construction and filter industries; the systems are designed and manufactured in accordance with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
