SM Weber is a specialized manufacturing company for components in turbine and compressor construction and has existed since 1979. The company manufactures nozzle rings, impellers, diffusers, control-stage turbines and fan wheels for use in steam turbines, compressors and generators up to 1000 MW output. The value chain includes planning, NC/CNC programming as well as machining by milling, turning, grinding and EDM (spark erosion); an in-house EDM technology is used for impellers and diffusers. Fan wheels are machined from forged blanks. The team covers all core areas of manufacturing, from programming to the finished component. According to the company, the manufactured components are in use worldwide more than 3000 times.
