About SMAG

SMAG Mobile Antenna Masts AG develops and manufactures mobile antenna mast systems in Salzgitter-Bad for military and civilian applications. The vehicle-mounted, container-based and truck or trailer-mounted systems elevate radar, sensors, antennas and communication equipment to positions of up to 40 metres in height, without guy wires and with payloads of up to 500 kg. The systems can be made operational in less than ten minutes, require a maximum of two operators, and are designed for rough terrain and wind speeds above 100 km/h. In addition to system development and production, SMAG offers maintenance, repairs, spare parts, inspections, documentation and operator training through its Mission Support section, both on-site and remotely. The solutions are used, among other things, in counter-drone applications, ground-based air defence, electronic warfare, surveillance, border control and radar and communication applications.
