About smart-me
smart-me AG was founded in 2014 by the father-son team David and Arnold (Noldy) Eberli and specializes in the digitalization of the energy supply. The company develops and produces intelligent hardware – including WLAN-based energy meters (1- and 3-phase meters Telstar, Telstar CT, Nimbus 100A), an M-Bus gateway for water, heat and gas meters, and the Pico E-charging station with integrated MID-certified meter. The metering devices transmit their data in real time to the smart-me Cloud, where monitoring, visualization, ZEV/vZEV billing, VEWA-compliant multi-energy billing and load management for up to 1000 charging stations take place. The system is marketed through a network of more than 950 certified specialist partners; with around 14,800 completed ZEV projects and over 300,000 connected metering points, customers are mainly active in real estate management, building services, electromobility and energy supply. The group includes the subsidiaries eCarUp (charging infrastructure platform) and smart-RED (German market). Since 2023, production and office have been located at Riedstrasse 18; in 2024 the company employed 29 staff.
