The smart1 solutions GmbH, based in Burghausen (Bavaria), specialises in the manufacture of energy management and charging management solutions. Founded by Stefan Voit in 2014, the company develops and manufactures controllers and control cabinets at the Burghausen site, including the VDE4110-certified EZA controller as an all-in-one control cabinet solution with integrated router and optional UPS. The manufacturer-independent EMS system platform integrates photovoltaics, battery and hybrid storage from kWh to MWh, AC and DC charging points as well as heat pumps and heating elements and, according to the company, is compatible with components from all major manufacturers. The portfolio is complemented by an own data centre (since 2019), the smart1 portal for monitoring and operations management, the remote maintenance software smart1Config, a real-time cloud with API interfaces and an e-mobility backend. Services include configuration, certification, direct marketing and redispatch 2.0. Customers come from the photovoltaic and storage industry, e-mobility, commercial and industrial sectors as well as the home application sector; OEM, ODM and white-label solutions round off the offering.
