smarterion ag is a Swiss manufacturer of LED luminaires, LED profiles and lighting systems headquartered in Switzerland. The company develops and manufactures custom luminaires, prototypes and OEM products from feasibility study through CAD engineering (SolidWorks) to series production. Its in-house manufacturing depth includes laser processing of sheet metal, bending, milling, turning, grinding, CNC profile bending, welding of aluminium, steel and stainless steel, CNC plastic milling as well as potting of LED lines (IP67) with polyurethane SEPUR 540. Quality assurance is supported by a 2-axis LABSPION luminaire measuring system from Visio Systems and a 3D measuring machine. Customers come from lighting, OEM manufacturing and electrical installation; OEM references include O. Küttel AG, EMT AG and Engeler AG Glaswelt. In addition to its own manufacturing, the modular manufacturing system smartPRODUCTION is offered as a licensing/franchise solution for LED line production.
