About us
SMB Schneiderat GmbH is a mechanical engineering company headquartered in Braunschweig with a second production site in Lohmen (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The company was founded in 1999 by Dipl.-Ing. Udo Schneiderat as a sole proprietorship and was converted into a GmbH in October 2009. Its range of services covers planning, design (2D/3D CAD), mechanical manufacturing of individual parts and assemblies as well as the development and delivery of complete machines, special machinery and automation devices. Production is carried out by CNC and conventional milling and turning, surface and cylindrical grinding, sawing, drilling, edge bending, welding as well as plastics and sheet metal processing including surface protection. Assemblies and systems are assembled in the company's own assembly hall including pneumatics, hydraulics and electrics, followed by commissioning, pre-acceptance and final acceptance at the customer's site. Customers come mainly from the automotive industry and its suppliers as well as from manufacturers of production systems and machinery.
