About SmithWorks
SmithWorks Europe GmbH is a company based in Schalksmühle specializing in golf clubs. The product range includes X-SPIN wedges (pitching, gap, sand and lob wedges) from the Tournament and Freestyle series as well as the Rolas putter series (blade, half-mallet, mallet). The wedge clubheads are cast from high-carbon soft steel (High Carbon Super Soft Steel); the faces are laser-milled (Tournament) or cast-milled (Freestyle), the tour sole is CNC-milled and the surface is finished with a ceramic blast finish. The Rolas putters combine an Alpha Brass face CNC-milled from a 2.5-kg brass block with a body made of military-grade alloy and tungsten steel weights. The development goes back to founder Stuart Smith, who designed clubs for major brands for over 40 years and coached players on the European and PGA Tour. SmithWorks Europe GmbH was founded in April 2021 as a sales office with its own warehouse and supplies all EU countries, Turkey and Switzerland from Germany; other countries are supplied by the SmithWorks UK sales office in Morpeth (England). Sales are exclusively through the company's own webshop.
