SMK Röhrsdorf GmbH is a medium-sized manufacturing company founded in 1991 and headquartered in Röhrsdorf, Saxony. The company produces complex metal and plastic precision parts, focusing on CNC-machined precision components from a quantity of 1 as well as injection-moulded parts, from prototyping and pre-series through to small and medium series. Plastic production is complemented by in-house toolmaking and a tool service for injection moulding, stamping and pressing tools. Quality and Metrology
Quality assurance is carried out by an in-house measurement service with 3D coordinate metrology (accuracy 2.5 + L/300 µm, max. 1,200 x 900 x 600 mm), 2D profile projection, universal length measuring machine (MPE E1 ≤ 0.4 µm), gauge block inspection station as well as colour analysis with two colorimeters (d/8° and 45°/0°). Measurement services are also provided for customers, including documentation.
