SMR Stahlbau-Maschinenbau-Rupp was founded in 2010 by Christian Rupp and is active in steel construction as well as in the manufacture of individual components for machines and systems. The company in Bous in the Saarland manufactures steel components to drawing, from welded construction through machining to on-site assembly at customers' construction sites. Since expanding with CNC machining machines in 2012, SMR offers complete manufacture from a single source, including CNC milling with Heidenhain control, stress-relief annealing, sandblasting and painting. Production is primarily in single-part manufacturing for the steel and mechanical engineering sectors. According to the company, customers benefit from flexible project handling and individual problem solutions.
