About SMW
SMW Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH & Co.KG was founded in 2003 by Andreas Smyrek in the Holdorf industrial park (district of Vechta, Lower Saxony) and specializes in the CNC manufacturing of prototypes and series parts as well as complex assemblies. The focus is on the production of vulcanization and injection molding tools including insert parts, from prototype to small series, complemented by fixture and plant engineering. On CNC-controlled machines from renowned manufacturers – 3-axis and simultaneous 5-axis machining centers from Mikron, Doosan lathes with driven tools and Y-axis, as well as Ingersoll EDM machines – the company covers the entire process from CAD/CAM programming through grinding, sandblasting, heat treatment and saw cutting to assembly of complete assemblies. Customers include suppliers to the automotive and agricultural machinery industries, medical technology, and general mechanical and plant engineering. Since 2022, SMW has been manufacturing in a new 1,200 m² building and is a recognized training company under the German Vocational Training Act.
