Sobernheimer Maschinenbau GmbH (SMB) develops and manufactures mounted sweeper machines, winter service equipment and special solutions for municipal vehicles, loaders, tractors and excavators in Bad Sobernheim. The product portfolio includes sweeper machines with working widths of 1,15 m to 4,50 m (including FKM 1000, FKM Solid, UKM, BKM 100, BKM Maxi, SMB-ES Excavator Sweeper, GripMaster), grading and snow plough blades, the IceMaster salt spreader and the WeedMaster equipment for mechanical weed removal. In its own production, components and assemblies are manufactured by turning, milling and welding; assembly covers mechanical and hydraulic components, and powder coating in the desired colour is available as an accessory option. Application examples include the Nürburgring and airports; SMB also serves municipalities, construction and agriculture as well as landscaping and garden construction. In addition, the company offers a spare parts service with next-day and express shipping as well as repair and general overhaul of its own machines.
