About SOCAR Energy Switzerland
SOCAR Energy Switzerland is the Swiss subsidiary of the state-owned Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR (State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku) and began market operations in Switzerland on 1 July 2012. The company operates a network of more than 200 filling stations in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, including stations with shop partners migrolino and mio. The offering includes fuels (VELVET 98, Unleaded 95, additivated diesel and Diesel HVO), fuel cards for private and fleet customers (SOCAR Card Classico, Forte, Diplomatic Card), the SOCAR Charge charging network including app, Car Wash, lubricants and gas cylinders. In wholesale, SOCAR distributes heating and transport fuels that are imported by rail, via the product pipeline to Geneva and by ship transport on the Rhine to Basel, and delivered with its own transport fleet. Through equity interests in the infrastructure of Zurich and Geneva airports, the company also provides jet fuel supply for airlines. Around 800 employees work throughout Switzerland at the Zurich headquarters and at the filling stations.

Safety and Quality
Safety has the highest priority in logistics and filling station operations: a highly modern transport fleet, predominantly own vehicles with own drivers, CZV training and internal safety training three times a year. Procedures and safety standards at the storage sites are audited annually by SOCAR.
