About SOCAR Trading
SOCAR Trading is the international marketing and trading organization of SOCAR, the state oil company of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Founded in December 2007 and headquartered in Geneva, the company markets the majority of SOCAR's crude oil export volumes from the port of Ceyhan in Turkey and additionally trades third-party volumes of crude oil, refined products, LNG, natural gas and environmental products. Since 2017, SOCAR Trading has been building LNG and gas trading capabilities, and since 2021 it has maintained a carbon trading desk. More than 200 employees worldwide work across five locations in Geneva, London, Singapore, Dubai and Houston. The company maintains relationships with SWIFT and more than 40 banks in Europe, Asia and the USA. As a 100% subsidiary of SOCAR, it is part of a group with activities along the entire value chain from exploration and production through pipelines and refineries to logistics and distribution.
