About Socionext
Socionext Inc. is a globally active fabless company for System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions, which emerged in 2015 from the former System LSI businesses of Fujitsu and Panasonic. Headquartered in Yokohama (Japan) with approximately 2,500 employees worldwide, the company develops standardized and custom SoCs (Solution SoC / fabless ASIC) for automotive, consumer and industrial applications as well as datacenter and AI infrastructure. Its value chain spans IP development, SoC design and system design through to production and quality control including comprehensive customer support; chip fabrication itself is carried out by partners. To this end, Socionext works with advanced process technologies from Intel (18A-P) and TSMC (A14) as well as partners such as Arm, imec, Rambus and Waymo. In Europe, the company is present with the Socionext Europe headquarters in Langen near Frankfurt, a Design and Support Center in Munich, an IP Development & Engineering Center in Maidenhead (UK), and a site in Linz (Austria). Its shares have been listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market since October 2022 (code 6526).
