Sofbey SA is a Swiss company founded in 2012 and headquartered in Mendrisio (Canton of Ticino) that specialises in the development and distribution of plant biostimulants. Since May 2018, Sofbey has been part of the Sipcam Oxon Group and constitutes its core business in the field of biostimulants. The portfolio includes, among others, Blackjak®, a Suspension Concentrate made from leonardite that is produced by a physical process at acidic pH, preserving the natural components of the raw material. Further products are Abyss® PRO based on seaweed extract from Irish coastal waters, Perfectose®, Stilo® Verde, Redcal®, Aguaademayo® and Stilo® Hydro L. The value chain covers research, formulation, field trials and industrial production, with the company having access to the formulation laboratories and production facilities of the Sipcam Oxon Group.
