SoftGripping GmbH, based in Hannover, develops pneumatically driven elastic soft grippers and end-of-arm tooling solutions for flexible robotic handling. The grippers are made of soft elastomers and food-grade, FDA-approved silicone; their adaptable, non-slip surfaces conform to different product shapes, allowing gentle handling of moist, delicate or irregularly shaped objects. The product portfolio includes the SoftGripper, SoftActuator and Educational SoftGripper series as well as special solutions such as the FiletGripper (developed with PERUZA), GorillaFinger, BagGripper and DoughGripper. In addition, SoftGripping supplies mechanical modules such as bases, flanges and accessories as well as pneumatic control solutions (ControlBox, PumpBox) with pressure regulation, pressure detection and valves. For demanding tasks, the company offers feasibility tests with real parts in its own facilities or on site. Areas of application include meat, fish and poultry processing, bakery, fruit and vegetables, dairy, packaging, intralogistics, pharmaceuticals as well as cobot and education sectors; distribution is worldwide via a distributor network.
