About DoorTag
SOHACO UG (haftungsbeschränkt) develops the smart digital door sign DoorTag with an ePaper display, which shows a person's status, e.g. “Busy”, “Available” or “On Air”. The device can be controlled manually or automatically by time and date via an app (Windows/Mac, mobile apps planned) and can be synchronized with Microsoft Teams, Slack and calendars. The display transmits content wirelessly over a distance of more than 5 metres; according to the manufacturer, the battery life is around 9 months with daily use (charging via USB-C). Frames are available in plastic (PLA/PETG, matte or glossy), brushed aluminium or wood (beech, cedar); custom frame designs are possible. Assembly of the DoorTag takes place in Germany (Made in Germany). The market launch is announced for mid-2026; a shop launch in Germany is planned. Fields of application are home office, office and meeting rooms, studios and streaming, medical practices, law firms as well as hotels and holiday accommodation.
