About Sojarei
Sojarei Vollwertkost-Gesellschaft m.b.H. was founded in 1984 in Baden near Vienna and has been producing at its Traiskirchen site in Lower Austria since 1992. The family-run company makes tofu using the traditional Asian method: the soybeans are cleaned, soaked in a water bath, ground, and the soy milk is coagulated with calcium sulfate; the tofu curd is pressed, cut and packaged. The product range includes organic tofu in nine varieties, silken tofu, beechwood-smoked tofu, seitan products based on wheat protein, patties as well as grill sausages, minced products and sliced strips. A specially developed process enables non-chilled, shelf-stable-at-room-temperature tofu and patty products. All products are organic, GMO-free and vegan; the soybeans come 100% from organic farmers in Austria, mainly from Lower Austria and Burgenland. With more than 60 employees, Sojarei supplies all of Austria's leading retail chains, the natural and health food trade, the gastronomy sector and international private labels.
