About Solar Fabrik

Solar Fabrik GmbH is a family-owned manufacturer of photovoltaic modules headquartered in Laufach, Bavaria. The brand, founded in 1996, was acquired by Christian Laibacher in 2016 and incorporated as Solar Fabrik GmbH. The company, with 75 employees, produces solar modules in glass-glass and glass-foil designs based on N-Type silicon cells (TOPCon 3.0), including bifacial cells and modules with back-contact technology featuring rear-side contacted conductor tracks. The portfolio includes premium modules for residential and commercial applications as well as bankable project modules for solar parks, rooftop systems and agri-PV. Since May 2024, Factory One has been under construction in Hösbach as the company's own module production facility in Germany, with a planned initial annual capacity of 250 MW, financed without subsidies. The offering is rounded out by inverters and storage systems from Solplanet as well as a partner network for installers.
