About Solar Protect
Solar Protect is a manufactory specialising in shade sail systems, based in Zwenkau near Leipzig (Rüssen district). The company produces custom-made shade sails in its own sail canvas manufactory and supplies fixed, manually retractable and electrically retractable systems, which on request can be controlled via app and equipped with a wind sensor. Sail fabrics used include Colourshade as well as the waterproof, weather-resistant WeatherMax80 and specialised special fabrics; masts and substructures are made of steel, stainless steel and wood, and the sail surfaces can be printed as advertising media on request. The range of services includes on-site consultation, individual planning, statically certified masts, production of foundations and connections to buildings, as well as installation by in-house skilled personnel without sales or installation partners. Since 2006, over 5000 shade sail systems have been installed in 16 countries, primarily for private customers, gastronomy, daycare centers and schools, industry, commerce and the public sector. An after-sales service for inspection and spare parts rounds off the offering.
