SOLARA GmbH, based in Hamburg, is a specialized provider of photovoltaic solutions for off-grid power supply. The company produces framed solar modules, flat frameless modules, and lightweight, flexible mobile modules, from which it manufactures complete solar systems as well as stand-alone systems. Production is carried out entirely in Germany, with the modules manufactured in the Hanseatic city of Wismar. Based on the high-efficiency solar cells used, power generation is also possible in low-light conditions; the systems are designed for robust and durable use under the harshest conditions. In addition to the standard range, SOLARA offers commercial customers custom-made products with individual dimensions, voltages and current ratings, in larger quantities. Customers include manufacturers and operators of motor homes and caravans, yachts and sailing boats, holiday and garden homes, as well as commercial and industrial applications such as island systems, off-grid power supplies, water supply and lighthouses.
