About Solaris Resources
Solaris Resources is a copper development company headquartered in Baar, Switzerland. The company was formed in 2018 as a spin-out of Equinox Gold, taking over a portfolio of copper assets. Its centrepiece is the Warintza copper porphyry project, 100% owned by Solaris, in south-eastern Ecuador with over 1.3 billion tonnes of Mineral Reserves (PFS dated 06.11.2025), an NPV of approximately US$4.6 billion and a planned conventional open-pit operation with a mine life of more than 20 years. In addition, the portfolio comprises exploration projects in Chile, Mexico and Peru. Project development follows a model of transparency and partnership with local communities, anchored in an Impact & Benefits Agreement (IBA) with Shuar communities. Advancement through to a construction decision is secured by a US$200 million financing from Royal Gold. The company's chief executive is Matthew Rowlinson (President & CEO).
