About Solavest
Solavest GmbH, based in Munich, realizes ground-mounted photovoltaic systems with a regional focus and supports the projects throughout their entire life cycle – from site assessment and planning through construction, operation and maintenance to complete decommissioning. The projects are characterized by minimal soil sealing: at most 0.5% of the area is permanently fixed to the ground, while the rest is greened with local meadows, shrubs and trees. The areas are partially used for grazing with sheep. Citizens, municipalities, local trades businesses and landowners are involved; municipalities receive tax revenue through local project companies and a share of the electricity revenue. Suitable areas start at approximately 5 hectares, including along highways and rail lines, conversion sites and areas in disadvantaged regions. Since 2018, systems ranging from 750 kWp to 12.6 MWp have been commissioned, including in Seedorf, Geisling, Scharenstetten and Peising. Solavest is a member of the German Solar Association (Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft) and serves customers in Germany.
