About SOLIRA
SOLIRA is a company founded in 1992 in Rathenow that specialises in the manufacturing and fitting of special lenses. Every order is executed as an individual one-off production: for each lens, new calculations, individual tools and machine set-up are required. The company generally accepts any order if the lens is optically and technically feasible and the material is procurable. The programme includes all-round additions, individual design and placement of near-vision segments as well as new developments of special lenses. This makes SOLIRA one of the few providers in Europe offering the complete programme of special lenses. For almost 30 years, the company has been working with experienced optical businesses in Rathenow, united under the umbrella brand Optik Rathenow and in the OABB e.V., and sees itself as part of the tradition of the town of optics.
