About Song Chuan
Song Chuan is a manufacturer of power electromechanical relays with more than 50 years of experience. The privately run Taiwanese company, founded in 1974 and headquartered in Taipei, comprises eight global business units and four production sites. The European entity, Song Chuan Precision Europe GmbH, is based in Isselbach-Ruppenrod (Rhineland-Palatinate) and manages sales across Europe. The product range includes electromechanical power relays, electronic relays and relay sockets for applications in industry, automotive, electromobility, household appliances, HVAC, solar, power supply and lighting. Song Chuan is vertically integrated: the in-house engineering department designs and manufactures production equipment, tools and fixtures itself, thereby controlling the quality and supply of all metallic and plastic components of a relay. New products are developed according to APQP and PDCA methods, and validation of relay performance from prototype to series production is carried out in an IEC-17025-certified test laboratory.
