About SONLUX
SONLUX Lighting GmbH, headquartered in Sondershausen (Thuringia), develops, manufactures and distributes mobile lighting solutions for professional applications. The product portfolio comprises around 3,000 products, including compact luminaires, dome lights, protective tube luminaires, large-area luminaires, floodlights, hand-held lights, tool lights, power storage units as well as accessories and tripods. Since 1992, the family-owned company – part of the RZB corporate group Rudolf Zimmermann GmbH – has been producing at this traditional site, where the VEB Elektroinstallation had already been manufacturing luminaires since 1970. Around 130 employees work on 25,000 square metres of production space, and the corporate group employs more than 950 staff. Production takes place in part on an automated assembly line for oval and round luminaires; in addition, SONLUX offers OEM production. Customers include industry, trades, authorities and organisations with security tasks (e.g. fire brigades, THW, mountain rescue) as well as event organisers. Sustainability is anchored through a 7,000 m² photovoltaic system (approx. 244 kWp) on the company roofs and EMAS validation.

Quality and Environmental Management
SONLUX operates with certified quality management (ISO 9001:2015) and environmental management (ISO 14001:2015, EMAS) for the development, manufacture and distribution of luminaires and lighting systems. A warranty of up to five years is granted on selected LED luminaire products.
