Family-owned organic company from the Waldviertel region

SONNENTOR Kräuterhandelsgesellschaft m.b.H. is an Austrian family-owned company from the Waldviertel region, founded in 1988 by Johannes Gutmann, specializing in organic teas, herbs, spices and derived products. The raw materials come from contract farmers in Austria and Germany as well as from international cultivation partnerships and are processed at the headquarters in Sprögnitz after harvest and drying: cleaning, cutting, blending, filling and labeling of teas, tea-like products, herbs, spices, fruits, cocoa, mushrooms, salt, herb and spice salts as well as oilseeds. In addition to distribution through its own stores, franchise partners, B2B trade and online shop, the company also offers tourism and gastronomy services with Country Lofts and City Lofts as well as the organic inn Leibspeis'.
