SOREL GmbH Mikroelektronik, based in Wetter (Ruhr), is a mid-sized, owner-managed manufacturer of electronic temperature controllers for the international heating industry. Originating from the development of controls for solar-based heating systems, the company is one of the pioneers of solar thermal energy in Germany and today offers control solutions for heat generation and distribution for applications ranging from solar thermal energy and heat pumps to apartment stations, underfloor heating and district heating. Manufacturing includes electronics manufacturing of the controllers, assembly mounting and soldering, cable assembly and pre-cabling for industrial customers, as well as device assembly and wiring, supplemented by device software flashing, functional testing, quality control and shipping. In addition to ready-to-install standard controllers (including TDC, HCC, FWC, °CALEON, °CALEONbox, °C-Lite), SOREL offers an OEM development service for electronics and software, white-label controllers, adaptations of standard controllers, the Smart Data Platform with Smart Data Server, the SOREL Connect App, OEM touch panels and pre-cabling.
