About Southvan
Southvan is a vehicle converter based in Bad Wurzach in the Allgäu region that develops and produces everyday-usable campervans based on the Mercedes Vito. Every conversion is configured together with the customer and includes joinery and furniture making, insulation and cladding elements, as well as standards-compliant electrical installation in the vehicle. In production, the company relies on the natural material wood, the most sustainable production possible, and collaboration with regional suppliers. The offering is complemented by the so-called Roof Station in Hopferau near Füssen: there, Southvan retrofits SCA pop-up roofs for VW T5/T6, Mercedes Vito/V-Class and Ford Transit/Tourneo Custom and, upon request, handles the TÜV registration. Managing Director Christian Gregg is a master craftsman in metal, and together with joiners, a carpenter, an electrical engineer and insulation specialists, stands for careful, craftsmanship-oriented work in small quantities.
