About Southworth International Group

The Southworth International Group (SIGI) is the parent company of several internationally active manufacturers of vertical lifting and positioning equipment. The portfolio includes lift tables, pallet positioners, tilters, roll and coil handling equipment as well as work access platforms, used in manufacturing, assembly, warehousing, logistics and trade. The company's roots go back more than 125 years to the founding of the printing house Southworth Press in Portland, Maine; in the early 20th century the company was renamed Southworth Machine Company with a focus on the manufacture of industrial products. Today the group comprises companies in the USA, Mexico, Sweden, England, France, Germany and China, including the European organization SIGI Europe (VPG Group) in Ängelholm and the branch SIGI Asia in Shanghai.
