SP Industrieprodukte GmbH is a manufacturer of pump systems for non-aqueous, lubricating liquids, based in the Heiligenfeld industrial park in Horb am Neckar. The product portfolio comprises internal gear pumps, oil burner pumps and custom pump assemblies, which are assembled on a modular principle from modules such as gear sets, pressure relief valves, solenoid valves, filters, solenoid coils and drive units. Gears and housings for the pumps are manufactured in the company's own plant; the complete assemblies are assembled in-house and tested on assembly and test benches for leak-tightness, delivery rate, torque as well as pressure and vacuum. Annual unit volumes range from 500 to 10,000 units; prototypes and samples in various performance variants are also produced. Customers include companies from the high-pressure cleaner, oil burner and heating technology, field kitchens, air heaters, brake fluid exchange systems, oil transfer units, central lubrication and minimum quantity lubrication sectors. Since 2003 the company has worked closely with Scherzinger Pumpen GmbH & Co. KG in Furtwangen and is part of the Scherzinger corporate group.
