SP Sportanlagenbau Ges.m.b.H., headquartered in Mautern/Donau (Lower Austria), was founded in 2011 and currently employs 26 staff. The company specialises in the construction of sports facilities: synthetic surfaces for athletics running tracks, multi-purpose sports fields and fall-protection surfaces, artificial turf installations for football, hockey and multi-purpose sports fields, as well as trend sports facilities with multifunctional board systems, floodlight installations, fencing systems and sports equipment. Further services include natural grass installations, tennis courts with clay (Tennen) surfaces or artificial turf, and landscaping. The metalwork — production and installation of fences and board systems — is handled by the sister company mecon solution gmbh as an independent metal division. Managing Director Ing. Alexander Sternecker brings 30 years of professional experience in sports facility construction; projects have been realised domestically and abroad.
