About Spacetek Technology

Spacetek Technology AG is a Swiss company based in Gümligen (Bern) that develops compact, robust and fast Time-of-Flight mass spectrometers for real-time gas analysis. The product IonTamer™ enables continuous monitoring of gas-based processes, in particular in advanced semiconductor manufacturing, where transient contamination and process-critical events are to be detected. The company emerged from a research project at the University of Bern; according to ESA Business Incubator Switzerland it evolved from a research project into a startup. The company's engineers were involved in the development of the University of Bern's CaSSIS instrumentation for the Mars mission and bring experience in developing electronics for extreme environments such as space and Antarctica. In addition to its Swiss location, Spacetek maintains a presence in Taiwan (East Asia).
