About SPALECK Oberflächentechnik

SPALECK Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Bocholt, develops and manufactures machines and systems for surface treatment using mass finishing technology. The portfolio comprises vibratory systems (round-bowl and tub vibrators), centrifugal disc systems, trough-through systems, rotary systems and high-frequency systems featuring the LFF process (Linear Force Finishing) developed for post-processing additively manufactured components. In addition, since 1985 and 1993 respectively, the company has produced its own process media such as grinding chips (media), compounds, polishing media and additives. The range extends from deburring and edge rounding to cleaning and mirror polishing with roughness values down to 0.05 µm Ra; this is complemented by drying technology, process water treatment, automated inspection systems with 2D and 3D image processing, and process automation. Materials processed range from steel, stainless steel, aluminium and brass to titanium as well as plastics and ceramics. Customers come, among others, from additive manufacturing, die casting, the coin and automotive industries, as well as medical technology, toolmaking and aerospace. Around 130 employees work at the site in the Bocholt-Mussum industrial park; sample processing is carried out in the company's own technical laboratory.
