About SPALT Trauerwaren

SPALT Trauerwaren GmbH was founded in 1956 by Walter and Lisa Spalt in Brensbach as an industrial manufacturer of coffin feet and is today run as a family business in its third generation by the founders' descendants. The portfolio includes urns, burial garments, coffin fittings and cemetery technology. The urns are manufactured at the Brensbach site from 100 percent biodegradable plastic; coffin fittings are finished in-house. The company's own metalworking shop produces cemetery technology products from metal. Around 80 percent of the range is produced on site by more than 65 employees, enabling high delivery capability and flexibility for individual requests. Via the online shop, which is open to retailers, funeral directors and municipalities, the company distributes its products as well as customary industry accessories such as hygiene articles and grave crosses.
