About Spanner Re²

Spanner Re² GmbH develops and manufactures wood-gasifier combined heat and power (CHP) systems in Neufahrn in Lower Bavaria, with which wood chips, pellets and biogenic residual materials such as forest residue wood, sawmill by-products, waste wood, roadside greenery, nut shells or plastic waste are used to generate decentralized electricity, heat or synthesis gas. At the core of the wood gasifier, a clean wood gas is produced in the reformer via a thermochemical co-current process, which is converted into electricity in a downstream CHP unit or used directly as a natural gas substitute in industrial thermal processes. The modular portfolio includes systems from 35 kWel (HKA 35) to several megawatts (HKA 300, HKA 700), pellet gasifiers, the EnergyBlock container solution, fully automatic fuel dryers as well as conveying and discharge technology – all from a single source. In addition, the company has been manufacturing pellet heating boilers from 4 to 100 kW thermal for over 20 years, overhauls used systems with a complete refurbishment, and offers output-class upgrades, maintenance, remote monitoring, contracting and profitability calculations. More than 1,100 systems are in operation worldwide, including at sawmills, hotels, farms, heating power plants and industrial companies such as the MVO dairy or the metal construction company Eirenschmalz.
