Speckenheuer Sprockets & Gears GmbH, based in Eslohe (Sauerland), specialises in the manufacture of custom sprockets and gears that integrate optimally into conveying systems and machinery. Parts are made from high-alloy special steels, stainless steels and plastics, including split (segmented) designs that reduce assembly and maintenance costs and allow replacement in inaccessible locations. The split joint is mechanically machined and friction-locked with bolts, so there is no functional disadvantage compared with unsplit components. The portfolio includes, in addition to sprockets and gears, drive units, dog drives (Triebstock), pin gearing sprockets, shear pin sprockets and special solutions. Customers come from plant engineering, conveying technology, chain manufacturing and mechanical engineering. In addition, the company offers technical consulting and the development of alternative sprocket designs.
