About us

Since 1946, Speckenheuer Sprockets & Gears GmbH has been manufacturing custom sprockets, gears and drive units at its Eslohe site in the Sauerland region, designed for integration into conveyor systems and machinery. Production covers sprockets in all sizes for virtually all chain types as well as gears and special gear teeth, produced on CNC machining centers and CNC 5-axis machining machines with fully digital CAD/CAM-controlled manufacturing. Materials used include steel, high-alloy special steels, stainless steels and plastics such as PA6G; the in-house production depth ranges from pre-turning, plasma cutting, welding and slotting to case hardening and induction hardening, plus the assembly of ready-to-install drive units. 40 employees produce over 15,000 sprockets annually in two-shift operation, from single parts to small series. Customers include plant manufacturers from mechanical engineering, conveying technology, hydraulic steel structures, mining, recycling and power plant technology, supplied from Germany throughout Europe and worldwide.
