About Speclz
Speclz SAS is a manufacturer of scientific measurement instruments for characterizing gelation processes. The core product is Lucie, a gelation analyzer based on Multi-Speckle Diffusing Wave Spectroscopy: a laser beam is directed into the sample, the speckle pattern generated by backscattering is analyzed over time and provides viscoelastic parameters such as elasticity, viscosity, gelation time and gel strength. The measurement is non-contact and non-destructive, allowing sensitive structures to be examined without disturbance. Lucie features four independent measurement positions for simultaneous multiparameter analyses, efficient temperature control, and software with automatic gel point determination and programmable SOPs. Fields of application include dairy processing (coagulation parameters of milk, yogurt, cheese), plant-based milk alternatives, as well as pharmaceutical, cosmetic, petrochemical and construction-material-related gel systems. Speclz also offers customized solutions and personal consulting, serving customers from industry and research in German, English and French.
