About Spectral Engines
Spectral Engines develops and markets miniaturized sensors and scanners based on near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy. The products enable fast, accurate and non-destructive analysis and identification of materials directly on site – without sampling or laboratory analysis. The portfolio comprises the NIRONE sensor series for integration into customers' own systems as well as the NIRONE scanner platform as a portable handheld scanner system. Areas of application include, among others, the detection of counterfeit pharmaceuticals, product compliance and brand protection, the identification of plastics and the sorting of textiles in recycling. The company aims to bring measurement technology out of the laboratory into field use and to support ecological and social issues through technological innovation.
