SPECTRIX is a strategic business unit that brings together the plastic injection molding brands Männer, Foboha, Synventive, Thermoplay, Gammaflux and Priamus and is represented by Otto Männer GmbH in Bahlingen a. K. The company manufactures high-precision injection molds (stack molds, twin-stack molds, single-face molds, multi-component molds and cube molds) as well as hot runner systems for multi-cavity and high-cavity applications, complemented by temperature, sequence and process control technology up to closed-loop control with cavity pressure and temperature sensors. The value chain ranges from Early Design Involvement and Material Science via pilot molds and mold making to system validation, Injection Specialty Molding and aftermarket services such as mold and hot runner refurbishment as well as training. Focus applications are medical technology and pharmaceuticals (e.g. inhalers, insulin pens, autoinjectors), packaging, automotive and electronics. Männer is regarded as the inventor of the cylindrical valve gate system, Foboha as the pioneer of Cube Mold Technology. Production takes place at eight sites in Germany, Italy, the USA, China and India; more than 40 injection molding machines are available in the Tech Centers. Quality is ensured through SAT-Ready qualification according to the Scientific Molding standard as well as optical, thermographic and pressure measurement inspection methods.

Quality
Qualification is carried out up to the SAT-Ready level according to a globally uniform standard based on Scientific Molding. The Tech Centers offer more than 40 injection molding machines as well as equipment for optical and haptic inspection, thermography, moisture measurement, high-speed cameras and flow measurement; Priamus systems monitor cavity pressure and temperature up to closed-loop control.
