About Spectroplast
Spectroplast specializes in the additive manufacturing of components made from true, siloxane-based silicone. Based on the patented TrueSil chemistry and a top-down DLP architecture with a recoating system, highly viscous silicone formulations are processed in a machine-readable manner and deliver smooth, nearly injection-molding-like surfaces. The service portfolio includes on-demand manufacturing of production-ready silicone parts in less than one week, application engineering for custom silicone solutions, and the supply of qualified TrueSil resins with technical documentation and certifications for customers' own DLP printers. The Shore hardness range extends from 20A to 60A, with lot sizes of 1 to 1,000 parts in printing and 1 to 5,000 parts at the quotation stage. Over 120,000 shipped parts and more than 700 customers demonstrate use from prototype to series production, including in medical technology, robotics (soft robotics), and general manufacturing; several customers have received FDA clearance for clinical trials with TrueSil parts.

Materials & Processes
TrueSil silicone (patented silicone resins)
Light-curable, true silicone for DLP printing, biocompatible, chemically stable and durably elastic.
TrueSil Shore 20A
Soft formulation for e.g. fingertip pads and seals with high elasticity.
TrueSil Shore 60A
Harder formulation for structural components such as actuator bodies.
Top-down DLP 3D printing
Curing at the open resin surface with a recoater for highly viscous silicone, without separation forces.
